2025 Service Project | Food Lifeline

This year marks our fifth annual Service Project! Starting in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, our Service Project connects our organization with a nonprofit in our district providing critical services and resources to those in need. For 2025, we are supporting Food Lifeline.

Food Lifeline’s mission is to feed people experiencing hunger today while working to end hunger for tomorrow. Operating out of Boulevard Park, Food Lifeline believes access to nutritious, culturally relevant foods is a basic human right, and centers racial justice and co-creation of solutions to poverty, wealth inequality, and social injustice. Food Lifeline supports a wide variety of work, including: retail and food partnerships, mobile food programs, advocacy and public policy, community engagement, and grantmaking initiatives.

Through our Service Project, you can contribute to our support of this incredible organization by volunteering with us on our day of service or providing a financial contributions. Our First Vice Chair, Rachel Glass, is the point of contact for this event and will be communicating with those who sign up to volunteer to provide additional information about the day of service.

Our day of service will be on Saturday, December 13, from 1:00-3:00 PM at Food Lifeline’s Hunger Solution Center — 815 South 96th Street, Seattle, Washington 98108. Financial contributions for this project will be accepted through Friday, December 12.
