Bylaws & Standing Rules Committee

The Bylaws and Rules Committee is responsible for understanding all of the organization’s governing documents, including: bylaws, standing rules, and code of conduct. In the first quarter of each calendar year, the committee reviews the governing documents and identifies opportunities for improvement. Together, they develop a list of recommended amendments and propose them to the Executive Board which, in turn, approves a set of amendments for member consideration.

Our governing documents define how we conduct our business — from officer elections to candidate endorsements, and data sharing to budgeting. Regularly ensuring their clarity and practicality is essential for a functional organization.
