We Can’t Do This Without You
The 34th District Democrats is a member- and volunteer-driven organization, so it’s our members and volunteers who make us strong. Running an organization like ours takes thousands of volunteer hours and tens of thousands of dollars — and every hour and dollar counts.
To help sustain our organization, we suggest members donate $15 per month (or $180 total) and ask that they consider giving at a higher level if they are able. That being said, any amount helps and nobody will be denied membership for inability to pay. Please note that if you are younger than 18 years old, you are unable to offer financial contributions to political organizations. If you are unable to pay, or are younger than 18 years old, please contact the Chair at chair@34dems.org.
Becoming a Member
Due to the reporting requirements of the Public Disclosure Commission, our membership year follows the calendar year. Regardless of when first submit your membership form, your membership will end on December 31 unless you renew for the next year. This policy also applies to recurring donations. Becoming a member of the organization is as simple as submitting the membership form, however, you are only an eligible voting member if you also reside within the 34th Legislative District. On the form you will be asked to verify your address. We will not be able to provide refunds to out-of-district households.

Change Make $ense is a year-long donation drive that will fund the important work we do to get Democrats elected and use our progressive voice to influence policy. Whether or not you are a member, if you wish to make an additional one-time donation to support the organization’s efforts, please use this link.

We enlisted an amazing local artist, Sarah Robbins, to illustrate a compelling message (“Ignite Change”) and design for t-shirts. While we give out t-shirts to volunteers at our events and regularly award them to members at our meetings, you can also buy one!
These high-quality black t-shirts are made at a union facility in Georgetown. They are a cotton blend with a little stretch for super comfort. They wash up really nice and fit true to size. We have UNISEX Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2XL and 3XL available.
