Caucus & Elections Committee
The Caucus and Elections Committee is responsible for two important areas of work: planning, organizing, and executing the Legislative District Caucus in even-numbered years, as well as working with endorsed campaigns to develop and implement voter targeting in the district. Additionally, especially ahead of endorsements, the committee collaborates with others to coordinate candidate events like town halls and debates.
A unique strength of the Democratic Party is its elections infrastructure. This committee uses that infrastructure and the resources it supplies to help candidates win up and down the ballot. Getting Democrats elected is central to achieving our organization’s broader vision.
