34th District State Senator Erik Poulsen has resigned. Rep. Joe McDermott has been appointed to replace him, at the recommendation of 34th District PCOs. Susan Susan Sheary, Chair of the King County Democratic Central Committee, has issued an official
call to all PCOs in the 34th District to attend a special meeting on Thursday, November 1st, 7:00 PM at the Hall at Fauntleroy to appoint a replacement for Joe. There are a series

Announced Candidates - Representative
These Democrats have announced their intention to seek appointment to the position
of State Representative, should Rep. Joe McDermott be appointed to Sen. Poulsen's seat and
therefore resign from the House. If a candidate's name is highlighted, click it to see a webpage with their biography and other information:
Joe Mitter, former Chair of the 34th, although he announced he may seek the appointment, has now decided not to do so.
